Dreger updates trade talk on Canadiens

Darren Dreger was on NHL Network’s NHL Tonight on Thursday evening.

On what he expects from the Montreal Canadiens:

“Well, what I know about Marc Bergevin and the Montreal Canadiens is that he’s not going to quit trying to improve his club. There’s some sense out there that maybe he’s looking for a better piece on the back end, to bolster what he has defensively. Again, I wouldn’t be surprised if Bergevin does something between now and the deadline. Maybe he helps what he has up front.

“But there’s not a lot of talk specific to Montreal.”
