Cheveldayoff: Jets, Frolik's camp "in constant contact" on contract extension
/Winnipeg Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff was on Winnipeg’s TSN 1290 on Monday afternoon.
On if he hopes to have a contract done with UFA-to-be Michael Frolik before the trade deadline:
“We’ve been in constant contact with them and again, as we mentioned back in the summertime, the relationship between the two groups here is a very good one. Again, I really don’t have anything more to update on that. But our position as far as how we regard Michael and the future and everything like that, I think both sides are still in the same camp as they were back then.”
