LeBrun: "Good chance" Blackhawks land Vermette

Pierre LeBrun was on Montreal’s TSN 690 on Thursday afternoon.

On if Antoine Vermette ends up with the Chicago Blackhawks:

“There’s a good chance. It’s not 100 percent because I think, again, the price. If the Coyotes are trying to ask for too much, then maybe Stan Bowman goes elsewhere. I can tell you this. Over the last – since the second Patrick Kane got hurt - I was told by a lot of teams that Stan Bowman has called every single seller and checked on every single rental name he can think of.

“Vermette is the guy they want the most. But I know they’ve checked in on Glencross. They’ve checked in on Cam Atkinson. You name it. So we’ll see which one they end up with.”
