McKenzie mildly amused by fake Insider Twitter accounts
/Bob McKenzie was on Toronto’s TSN 1050 on Tuesday afternoon.
As part of a larger discussion on fake Insider Twitter accounts, and what the biggest problem is an imposter has caused him:
“It doesn’t cause me any problem at all, because - in fact, there’s a very small part of me that’s an anarchist who actually gets a kick out of it when some idiot fake Bob McKenzie puts something out there and everybody starts to jump on it and retweet it all over the place.
“I’m looking at it, and I go: ‘Not my job to correct it.’
“So if people want to run with it, let them run with it. That’s probably (laughs) not a very good answer, but it’s true sometimes. I kind of laugh about it.
“I’m not sure what it says about somebody who wants to be fake anything, other than you need to get a life. But that’s fine.”
