Dreger: "Speculation around Sharp and Bickell... is unfounded"

Darren Dreger was on NBCSN’s NHL Live on Wednesday evening.

On the trade deadline thought process for the Chicago Blackhawks:

“Unless injury forces Stan Bowman to do something dramatic, he plans on sitting tight. He likes what he has. He knows that this team is in full Stanley Cup mode again. Perhaps they add a depth defenseman. Yes there’s going to be some salary cap issues that the Hawks are going to have to contend with, but you know what? They can do that in the offseason. So the speculation around Sharp and Bickell, at least for the moment, is unfounded.”
