Dreger on Blackhawks, trade deadline

Darren Dreger was on NHL Network’s NHL Tonight on Monday evening.

On the Chicago Blackhawks and the trade deadline:

“Stan Bowman doesn’t have a lot of flexibility because he doesn’t have cap space. Like a lot of teams, he likes what he’s got internally and within his system. And even though you’re as deep as the Chicago Blackhawks are, when opportunity presents you have to look within to give those players who are developing a chance. And I think that’s really the priority for Bowman and the Chicago Blackhawks.”
