Report: Lightning's Malone arrested

The Tampa Bay Times reports that Lightning forward Ryan Malone has been arrested by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office on charges of cocaine possession and driving under the influence.

Statement from GM Steve Yzerman: "We are aware of the situation concerning Ryan Malone this morning. Ryan will not travel with the team to Washington today, but beyond that we cannot comment further at this time."

According to county records Malone since 6/22 has 7 citations for traffic infractions. April 30 court date for driving w/suspended license.

According to Ryan Malone's arrest report, he had 1.3 grams of coke in his right rear pocket and blew a .116 and .112 breath test.
