LeBrun: Other GMs say Blue Jackets "might listen on" Anisimov trade

Pierre LeBrun was on Vancouver’s TSN 1040 on Tuesday afternoon.

On if there’s anyone with term available he’s heard mentioned that a team would be willing to part with:

"I think Columbus is interesting. I think they’re listening. I spoke with Jarmo Kekalainen earlier this morning. He’s not interested in making a lot of moves. He thinks that injuries aside, his team will come back next year and be in the thick of it. And I think he’s right.

“But from talking to other GMs around the league, there’s a couple of names on that Columbus roster that at the very least Columbus might listen on. One of them that I heard is Anisimov, for example, who has another year on his deal.

“Now again, they’re not giving these guys away. I think listening and being willing to move him are two different things. But that’s a name that popped up in the last 48 hours that I hadn’t heard before.”
