LeBrun: Could Kings' changes extend beyond Richards?

As part of a larger discussion on the Los Angeles Kings :
“Big picture it’s going to be interesting. You hear rumors about whether the Kings are trying to find a new home for Mike Richards or not, and I think it goes beyond that. I think Dean Lombardi is probably doing a lot of inner-thinking here about how long does he hang in with some of these guys that have been so good to him, and yet have been so disappointing this year.
“You know what these guys do – they usually just wake up at the end, just in time. And they’re just on the cusp of a playoff spot right now as well. But it’s certainly not been the kind of year they hoped. They really thought they could come out swinging for the fences like Chicago, and do one of those wire-to-wire acts. So a lot of disappointment from that perspective.”
