Doughty appreciates Toews' heart

In a profile on the evolution of Drew Doughty's leadership role with the Kings, the defenseman shared his thoughts on opponent Jonathan Toews with The Los Angeles Times.

"I think he has more heart than a lot of players and that's what separates him," Doughty said of Toews. "Skill-wise he's got it all, but what I really have to be aware of when I play him is on the defensive end or in the neutral zone - if he's trying to forecheck me, I can't be making passes by him, he's going to knock those down."

On Tuesday, Kings coach Darryl Sutter also called Toews "the best two-way player in the National Hockey League."
