Boyle: Gaborik's bad reputation was 'crap'

Saturday afternoon, The New York Post took a look at the playoff success of Los Angeles Kings winger Marian Gaborik. 

“All I know is that I loved the guy as a teammate,” former New York Rangers teammate Brian Boyle told Slap Shots. “He is a great guy and a great player, and we were lucky to have him here.

“I don’t know how all that stuff about him not doing this, not doing that, not being tough enough, not competing or whatever got attached to him,” Boyle said. “But it’s crap.”
