Winning 'like a drug' for Landeskog, Avalanche

The Edmonton Journal takes another look at how the Oilers can aspire to be like the Colorado Avalanche in many respects.

Captain Gabriel Landeskog explains the impact Patrick Roy has had on the franchise.

”To have a champion like Patrick come in and guide us is great,” said Landeskog. “It hasn’t been easy, but sometimes all you need a different voice. In our case, that was Patrick. We just came together. I’m sure the Oilers feel the same as we did last year… you get sick and tired of it.”

He added: “Once you get a taste of winning….we were 14 and 2 at the start of the season and it’s like a drug. You don’t want to let it go."
