Stastny alludes to staying with Avalanche
/Colorado Avalanche center Paul Stastny, who is slated to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, told The Denver Post on Tuesday he looked at this season as a new beginning of sorts.
"This year, for me, was a fresh start. It was a new team, with new coaches, new management. It was almost like a tryout. And you wanted to see how it went," said Stastny.
"If things didn't go well, then in the back of your mind you'd say, 'Well, maybe I want to go somewhere where I want to win.' And when things do go well, you say: 'All right, you know what? This is a completely different feel. This is good. This is something you want to be part of, and you want to keep building.' "
