Thomas enjoying time with Stars

40-year-old (as of Tuesday) goaltender Tim Thomas shared his thoughts, via DallasNews.com, on his time with the Stars since the trade from Florida.

“I’ve had the opportunity to experience a different role than I’ve had in the past, but it’s been a good thing,” Thomas, who will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, said. “I’ve helped support Kari and helped support the team. It’s given me the opportunity to get outside of myself, and I’ve enjoyed that.”

Thomas, expanding on his time with Lehtonen: “We’re just crazy goalies, so we get the chance to talk about that. I like to hear other people’s thoughts on things, and that’s always fun. It’s been a really smooth transition, they’ve accepted me and made me feel comfortable, and I really feel like I’m part of the team.”
