Attendance trending upward for Blues

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch points out that after having no sellouts in the first 19 home games, the Blues have now reached capacity in nine of the past 17 outings.

“The commitment by ownership, signing players and making the trade (for Buffalo’s Ryan Miller and Steve Ott), fans are reacting to that,” said Bruce Affleck, the Blues president of business operations. “If you put a good product on the ice, they’ll come and support it. It means a lot to the players, and it means a lot to us.”
