Miller feels Blues have 'good energy'

A reflective Ryan Miller shares with The New York Times his thoughts on making the proverbial basement to penthouse move since being dealt to the St. Louis Blues from the Buffalo Sabres.

“Now with the Blues, there’s good energy,” said Miller. “It’s night in, night out. We’re in games.”

On how the Blues arrived at their current state: “St. Louis, they’ve learned some lessons, gone through some battles, built their way up to this through the last four or five years. It’s nice to come into that.”

He shared a number of thoughts on the Sabres, including the 'weird' resignation of Pat LaFontaine and why Miller's career timeline wasn't aligning in Buffalo.

On the frustrations: “Unfortunately, in Buffalo the guys get in a position where it wears on you — your confidence is lower,” Miller said. “When things start to go wrong, it’s almost a here-we-go-again type of thing.”
