Gretzky explains his 'pinpoint accuracy'

TSN's Ray Ferraro sat down with Wayne Gretzky for the 20th anniversary of the legend's 802nd NHL goal, which broke Gordie Howe's goal scoring record.

Naturally, all of this interview with No. 99 is worth a watch.

Gretzky was asked if he would have attacked the game differently if he had today's stick technology back in his day.

"The reason I used the stick I used was because I gave up a little bit of velocity on my shot for accuracy. My stick was so stiff that my accuracy every single day was pretty pinpoint. So I couldn't shoot as hard as other guys, but I knew exactly where I was shooting it.

"So from my point of view, I wouldn't change anything. I truly loved every minute of it. I wouldn't change anything."
