Krejci 'not surprised' Team USA didn't medal

Boston Bruins forward David Krejci was, along with Bruins teammate Zdeno Chara, a member of Team Slovakia in Sochi. They lost to Team USA by a 5-2 count.

CSNNE.com notes Krejci's thoughts on that game, along with the Americans' overall finish.

“The game against us was a little weird. They got three goals from behind the net,” said Krejci. “I couldn’t really tell how great they were playing, or bad they were. We really didn’t push them to the limit.

“I know they had a good team, but I’m not surprised they didn’t win a medal. Canada, Sweden and Finland all had great teams.”
