Source: Sabres trying to deal Miller

The Associated Press has a source familiar with the discussions who indicates Buffalo Sabres GM Tim Murray is still pursuing offers for pending UFA Ryan Miller, with the intention of trading him by next week.

“Tim is testing the waters as hard as he can,” said the source, who believes the team's first option is to trade Miller. The second choice then, failing a deal, would be to attempt to re-sign the goaltender.
