McKenzie: Hall might welcome trade out of Edmonton
/Bob McKenzie was on Toronto’s TSN 1050 on Monday evening.
On how one overriding philosophical consistency of this Oilers franchise has been, ‘Don’t touch the core’:
“That’s going to change. That potentially will change.”
Our friend Darren Dreger, on this program in the last hour, basically said, ‘Taylor Hall will be up for grabs.’ And he used the word you never should use on a player – uncoachable.
“I don’t know that he’s uncoachable. I suspect that – if I had to guess, and it’s only a guess – if they’re thinking of trading Taylor Hall, Taylor Hall might be the first guy to say, ‘great’ after everything he’s been through.
“But when I look at this, I think Dregs is right. I think everything is going to be on the table and that includes, potentially, Taylor Hall.”
