Friedman on trades, Miller, Jets, Penguins, Crosby

Elliotte Friedman was on Sportsnet 960 Friday morning.

On the NHL trade front:

"Trade stuff I'm not hearing so much this week. I'll probably do a lot more of my calls tomorrow."

On Ryan Miller:

“I think Ryan Miller is proving himself maybe to be the early best off-season signing in the National Hockey League.”

On the Winnipeg Jets:

“The Jets – I don’t know if it’s anything that’s serious that you look at it and say, ‘This is long-term,’ but they’re playing some of their best hockey I’ve seen them play since they moved back north. I think obviously they have a huge uphill climb to get there.”

On the Pittsburgh Penguins:

“Pittsburgh, they just look like a completely different team. The way they play now, holding onto the puck - you look at Crosby, you think he's discovered cold fusion. It's a completely different way that he's able to play."
